{"id":6170,"date":"2022-10-28T13:58:34","date_gmt":"2022-10-28T10:58:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/danubesafety.net\/?p=6170"},"modified":"2022-10-28T14:30:27","modified_gmt":"2022-10-28T11:30:27","slug":"announcement-of-projects-completion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/danubesafety.net\/en\/announcement-of-projects-completion\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcement of Project\u2019s Completion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<span class=\"fontstyle0\">Project \u201cImprovement of the transport safety in the common Bulgarian-Romanian stretch of the<br \/>\nDanube river through development of the emergency response by cross-border cooperation\u201d \u2013<br \/>\nDanube Safety Net, project code ROBG-522, which officially ended on the <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">14<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">th <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">of October 2022<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">,<br \/>\nhas significantly increased the capacity for reaction of the competent authorities and structures<br \/>\nin Bulgaria and Romania in case of different emergency situations on the Danube river and thus<br \/>\nhas contributed to a safer and more reliable navigability for the whole length of the common<br \/>\nstretch of the river.<br \/>\nAs a direct and immediate effect from the implementation of the project, the following <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">project<br \/>\nresults <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">were achieved:<br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle3\">\uf0fc <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">Established <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Emergency Response Centers (ERC) Ruse, Lom and Constanta<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">, supplied with<br \/>\nthe needed equipment to host the provided by the project IT tool;<br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle3\">\uf0fc <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">Supplied, developed and integrated <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Danube Transport Safety Geographic Information<br \/>\nSystem (DTSGIS)<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">. The system is developed in parallel in Bulgaria and Romania under<br \/>\ncommon technical specification, jointly developed by the two Partners. The DTSGIS is<br \/>\nunique for the region and extremely useful tool in planning and managing various<br \/>\nemergency situations.<br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle3\">\uf0fc <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Delivered to EAMA two multipurpose non-self-propelled crafts (barges) for emergency<br \/>\nand rescue activities on the Danube River<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">. The specialized vessels are located in the<br \/>\nports of Ruse and Lom and carry specialized equipment, which will increase significantly<br \/>\nthe adequacy of reaction in variety of calamity and disaster events in the common<br \/>\nBulgarian-Romanian stretch of the river.<br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle3\">\uf0fc <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Delivered to RNA two multipurpose vessels<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">, <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">which will be used in emergency<br \/>\ninterventions<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">. The vessels, which are located in Giurgiu and Bechet, carry specialized<br \/>\nequipment and will provide timely reaction in the common Bulgarian-Romanian stretch of<br \/>\nthe river, when needed.<br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle3\">\uf0fc <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Prepared and validated Common Action Plan for Joint Emergency and Rescue<br \/>\nOperations Between Executive Agency \u201cMaritime Administration\u201d and the Romanian<br \/>\nNaval Authority in the Common Bulgarian-Romanian Stretch of the Danube River<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">. The<br \/>\nCommon Action Plan addresses specific incidents occurred in the common BulgarianRomanian stretch of the Danube River, which require joint actions with the use of the<br \/>\ndelivered under the project barges to EAMA, multipurpose self-propelled crafts to RNA<br \/>\nand DTSGIS.<br \/>\nThe Danube Safety Net Project tackles common challenges identified jointly in the cross-border<br \/>\nregion by finding joint solutions for the improvement of safety of navigation on the Danube River.<br \/>\nIt represents a good example of an effective cooperation, directed to the achievement of the<br \/>\nnational and European priorities in the field of the river transport and contributes to a more<br \/>\nprepared, reliable and resilient in terms of navigation safety region.<br \/>\n*****<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"fontstyle0\">The Danube Safety Net Project is implemented under the INTERREG V-A Romania-Bulgaria<br \/>\nProgramme 2014-2020 and its <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">overall objective <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\">is to improve the safety of river Danube<br \/>\nnavigability for the whole length of the common stretch between Romania and Bulgaria.<br \/>\nLead Partner in the project is Executive Agency \u201cMaritime Administration\u201d and the Project<br \/>\nPartner is the Romanian Naval Authority.<br \/>\nThe overall budget of the project is 5 699 612,87 euro, out of which 85% funded by the European<br \/>\nUnion through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and 15 % are national cofinancing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1634709057813{padding-top: 40px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.
